About Nancy Kaufman

Since 1979, Nancy Kaufman has dedicated herself to establishing a treatment approach, the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol (K-SLP), to help children become effective vocal communicators.

She is the author of the Kaufman Speech to Language Materials and the owner and director of the Kaufman Children's Center for Speech, Language, Sensory-Motor, & Social Connections Inc.

Nancy is known worldwide for her expertise in the area of childhood apraxia of speech and other speech sound disorders, and families from around the globe visit the Kaufman Children’s Center for evaluation and treatment.

She lectures locally, nationally, and internationally and serves on the professional advisory board of the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America. Nancy is the recipient of the 2010 Outstanding Alumni Award from the Michigan State University College of Communication Arts and Sciences.
